Frankfort, Aug 25 - Silas P. Dain, 82, former employee of the Milner Provision Company and a resident of Frankfort 25 years, died early this morning at his home, 708 North Gentry Street. He came to Frankfort from Darlington in 1915. Survivors are his wife, formerly Adra E. Young; a daughter, Mrs. Stewart Reeves, Latham, Ill; four sons, Chester Dain, Muncie; Guy Dain, Indianapolis; Joe Dain, Crawfordsville and Earl Dain, Frankfort; a brother, Hunter Dain, ALberta Canada and four sisters: Mrs. Lettie Branigan, Frankfort; Mrs. AC Helms, Hot Springs, Ark; Mrs. OH Reeves, Greencastle and Mrs. Emma Boyd, Indianapolis. Friends may call at the residence until 11 a.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at the Goodwin brothers chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday the Rev. John A. Farr officiating. Burial in Plain View Cemetery, Colfax. - kbz
